The freebies had very positive feedbacks as a lot of them commented that they would like to get their hands on them and would go to the open house just for the goodie bags. It is also very engaging for the influencers to wear the t-shirts that in return, attracts the public to head down to Open House to collect the goodie bags.

One thing to be learnt from NP’s Open House is that people do not like performing cheers or doing loud and embarrassing acts just to get freebies. The task should be simple enough for them to collect and move on to other sections of the open house.

There are various comments on the windbreaker. For some they think that it looks good and hyped but some would say that it looks like a plastic bag. The windbreaker should continue to be promoted however improve on the quality of it. It should be opaque instead of being translucent to avoid it being deceived as low quality.

Influencers

Many of the influencers are well known to the public but however influencers such as Natalie Ong was not known as many questioned who is she. A suggestion could be that SP Corporate Comms could have a survey from the current students or the public on who should they invite for the next open house.

Performance

Many of the users we found from Twitter and Instagram were very into korean pop culture. A suggestion to the performances or the music being played should have more kpop to hype up and engage more with the public. This is evident as the tweets and posts from other Polytechnics, the kpop performances were well received by the public.

Tours

The tours should be more friendly and the ambassadors should be more welcoming and friendly to help the incoming students around. To engage more with the public, a sneak peak video on the tours should be done to attract more people to go on the tours instead of having them collecting the goodie bags.

Academic Schools

To have views on the academics schools, more career prospects from the alumni or graduates should be shown or demonstrated in a short video or instagram story for parents and students to understand more about the working experience and culture of a specific industry after graduating from a specific diploma. It should not be limited to just a day in a life of a student, but a day in a life of a working adult in the same industry to help the students as well as the parents on deciding on the right course.

More performances and events should be hosted in these schools so that it would attract more potential visitors to these schools. By attracting more visitors, it would help in bringing the total responses for these schools up.

Promotion and Advertisements

Promotions and advertisements to be posted on social media even before the start of Open House to raise awareness for the least popular schools. This would make potential visitors be aware of such schools and courses.
